Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to remove your personal data from MonetAura, including any data we accessed through your connected Instagram or Facebook account.

Option 1 — Disconnect your Instagram account from MonetAura

If you only want to revoke MonetAura's access to your Instagram and Facebook data but keep your MonetAura account:

  1. Sign in to app.monetaura.com.
  2. Open the Onboarding / Bienvenido screen.
  3. In the "Instagram conectado" card, click "Desconectar".

This immediately marks the connection as revoked and stops MonetAura from making further calls to Meta on your behalf. The encrypted access token is purged from our database within 24 hours.

You can also revoke MonetAura from Facebook directly: Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations → find MonetAura → Remove.

Option 2 — Delete your entire MonetAura account

If you want to delete your MonetAura account and all associated data, send a request to hola@monetaura.com from the email address you use to sign in to MonetAura, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

We will:

  • Acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
  • Permanently delete your account, creator profile, briefs, calendar entries, products, landing pages, leads and any Instagram/Facebook data we held under your account, within 30 days of confirmation.
  • Delete any encrypted Meta access tokens and stop all sub-processor calls tied to your account.
  • Send you a confirmation email when deletion is complete.

What stays

We may retain a limited set of records when we are legally required to (e.g. invoicing / tax records, fraud-prevention logs). Server logs containing IP addresses are rotated out within 90 days regardless.

Aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for product analytics.

Option 3 — Request via Meta (for Instagram/Facebook data only)

If you previously connected Instagram and want MonetAura's data deletion to be processed through Meta's Data Deletion Callback flow:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations.
  2. Find MonetAura in the list.
  3. Click View and edit → Remove.

When Meta notifies us of the removal, we delete the corresponding Instagram/Facebook data from our records within 30 days.

Verification

For security, we may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address registered to your MonetAura account. We do this to prevent malicious deletion requests against your account.
